Deborah Janos, LCSW

I am a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago with a Masters Degree in Social Work. I have been in the field of therapy for over two decades. During that time I have worked with every population from young children, young and middle age to aging adults.  

I started my career in a special education school.  I moved on to agency work where I began working with a wide variety of clients with an array of concerns. I spent some years working in schools with elementary aged students. I later worked in hospice where I helped patients cope with a wide variety of medical concerns, chronic illnesses and end of life care.

The last number of years I have worked in private practice focusing on individuals dealing with perinatal, postnatal and menopause concerns.  I have also been working with adults and elementary age students. My work has included helping client’s negotiate anxiety, depression and life transition issues.
